This course introduces the four fundamental concepts of electrical engineering: voltage, current, resistance, and power. Using simple visual analogies, including the syringe and water flow model, you'll develop an intuitive understanding of how electricity behaves in an electrical circuit and how these key quantities relate to one another.

Through detailed animations and practical examples, the course explains electrical potential, the flow of electric charge, electrical resistance, and the relationship between voltage, current, and power. You'll also learn the units used to measure each quantity, the significance of Ohm's Law, and how electrical energy consumption is measured in kilowatt-hours.

By the end of this course, you'll have a solid understanding of the fundamental principles that underpin all electrical systems, providing an excellent foundation for studying electrical circuits, motors, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
